Welcome to
LeSueur County Snowmobile Trails Association's
Web Site

LeSueur County Snowmobile Trails Association grooms approximately 170 miles of smooth, wide trails in the heart of South Central Minnesota. Our wonderful trails offer everything you could want in a trail system, including scenic forests, river bottoms, and wide-open fields. Our trail system connects virtually every city, town and village together in LeSueur County making for unlimited possibilities of riding excitement for the entire family.

Le Sueur County Snowmobile Trails Assoc. members would like to inform you of the new legislature regarding the upcoming snowmobile season.

 Snowmobile Trail Sticker (Pass):

The state trail sticker has been expanded from just out of state snowmobiles to all snowmobiles operated on a state or grant-in-aid snowmobile trail. The fee for a one-year sticker is $15 or the fee for a three-year sticker that is purchased at the time of snowmobile registration is $30. In addition to other penalties, a person who is found to be in violation of this law must purchase an annual state trail sticker for a fee of $30. The sticker is valid from November 1 through April 30th. Except for licensing fees, the fees collected under this program will be credited to the snowmobile trails and enforcement account and must be used for grants-in-aid, trail maintenance, grooming, and easement acquisition. SF 69, Art. 2, Sec. 32

Snowmobiler's Pledge

  • I will remember that this land I am traveling on is not mine, but borrowed for the season.  It is the home of someone else.

  • I will respect their privacy as I would expect others to respect mine in my home and on my land.  Moreover, I understand that I am not the only guest to share this great outdoors.  There are others from all walks of life who seek the same privilege of using this land just like me.

  • I will also respect Mother Nature's wild creatures who were here long before us.  I will take time to slow my journey, if only to experience the beauty of the season and to enjoy this sport I love.

  • I will remember the Golden Rule.  I will leave no blight of litter or abuse on this gift of freedom from life's often sameness.

  • Snowmobiling is a privilege, not a right.  Remember, the key to the sport of snowmobiling in Minnesota is permission from a landowner.
